Small Class Sizes
At Ivy Hall, the sole focus is on the individual student experience. In order to ensure each student develops to the highest level they can, we keep our class sizes small to maximize student-teacher interactions and allow for group discussions where every child participates.
Advanced Mathematics
We work to help our students outperform their peers in mathematics through innovative and arduous math curriculum that prepares our students to be grade levels higher in math than their peers.\
Leadership Development
We subscribe to Franklin Covey’s “ The Leader in Me” school transformation process. It teaches 21st century leadership and life skills to students and creates a culture of student empowerment based on the idea that every child can be a leader. Covey’s “7 Habits” guide both teachers and students in the classroom and play an important role in shaping children in every aspect of their lives.

Ivy Hall Academy Offers Diploma Options
Advanced Diploma
The advanced diploma is earned over five years, beginning in 8th grade. Students complete the early diploma courses along with additional personalized classes in their senior year. Students participate in 1) an Entrepreneurship Practicum, interning or apprenticing at a local company; 2) a Technology Practicum, completing technical certifications; and 3) an Innovative Collaboration Lab culminating in an international social-impact and service learning trip.
Early Diploma
The early diploma is earned in four years beginning in 8th grade. Students must complete a minimum of 25 credits outlined in the IHA path to graduation.
College Courses
Seniors have the option of taking college courses in their senior year in place of or in addition to the Practicums and Collaboration Lab. College courses are offered through our ASU partnership, taught by an ASU professor. Students receive tier 1 University credit upon completion of concurrent enrollment courses. Costs include $25 to enroll and $400 credit transfer fee per course for college credit.
Blended Learning High School Courses
Courses offered at Ivy Hall High School may be a “blended” online course taught in partnership with Arizona State University Prep Digital. Ivy Hall provides the “in class” portion of the content and the teacher for the class itself. With this approach, students have 24-hour virtual access to the learning materials (handouts, interactive presentations, quizzes, test-preps, etc.) with faculty present (in the classroom and online) to develop, guide, and provide a digital dialog with students as they progress through the semester.

LEADERSHIP is the unique opportunity offered to Ivy Hall students. School Life
At Ivy Hall Academy, we are engaging interdependent life-long learners, who are college and career-ready to lead lives of meaningful contribution.
Students enjoyed rigorous academics as well as swimming, tennis, racquetball, and track. Ivy Hall moved to its current location at Vintage Park in northeast Provo and added ninth grade as well as online options for grades 10 and 11. Each year, Ivy Hall will add another grade of high school until it is a PK3 – 12th grade school. From its inception to the present, the school has enabled greatness by combining challenging academics, the arts, and leadership. Each year the curriculum is evaluated and improved. Excellent teachers influence the love of learning. Our well-rounded students go on to contribute to society and live successful, happy lives.
